I am currently in Christmas decor making mode... and y'all know I have to put my style into what I create. Here is what I have so far:
I love decorating with book pages and enjoy these large book page dahlias so I did a few with a Christmas twist.
Because... I love "Christmas Vacation" I had to add in a funny/slightly inappropriate sign. ;-)
I can not read this sign without saying it in a "gangster" voice and picturing myself holding a tommy gun. haha
These are great for the entire season! Easily wipe clean and write a new message or saying for each holiday/season. Happy Fall, Trick or Treat, Give Thanks, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Easter... you get the idea!
I made myself a set of these to display on either side of our fireplace during December and they are sooooo stinkin' cute! One of my favs.
I love painting with metal paints and using oxidizing agents to cause rust on the surface. Instant patina! All of the above items are wood or chipboard so they are light weight but look like rusty metal. Love!
These could be displayed year round but I especially love how they look when displayed with my Farmhouse Christmas items.
And... my FAVORITE! Farmhouse style tree ornaments. These may have to live at my house!
